Throughout my career, I have developed strong expertise in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, petty cash management, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation. I am proficient in Tally ERP 9 and Focus ERP, and highly skilled in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis. My experience also includes UAE VAT compliance, inventory accounting, and supporting both internal and external audits.
In my most recent role as Accountant and Cashier at Al Hamad Trading & Contracting Est. W.L.L in Doha, Qatar (December 2019 to March 2026), I managed full-cycle accounting functions, monitored customer aging reports, processed local and international vendor payments, and finalized financial statements including Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheets. I consistently supported audit readiness by maintaining accurate records and coordinating with auditors on required schedules. Prior to this, at Better Light Trading & Contracting Est. W.L.L, I handled receivables, payables, WPS payroll disbursements, inventory control, and import/export documentation.
I am well-versed in UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations which enables me to integrate seamlessly into UAE-based finance operations. My strong communication skills in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil further allow me to collaborate effectively in the UAE's diverse work environment. I hold a valid GCC Driving License and my Qatar Driving License is currently being converted for UAE use.
