I am an ACCA Affiliate and BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting graduate from Oxford Brookes University, UK, currently exploring opportunities in Record-to-Report, Financial Reporting, and FP&A-oriented roles within the UAE.

Over the past few years, I've built hands-on experience across both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions in multinational organizations, including Gulf Coca-Cola Beverages and Al Naboodah Commercial Group.

In my Accounts Receivable role at Gulf Coca-Cola Beverages, I partnered with IT to build a macro-based solution for SAP customer ledger extraction, streamlining a previously manual reporting process. I identified and flagged post-dated cheque (PDC) credit risk exposure, strengthening internal controls around collections, and designed a daily collection report (DCR)-to-GL matching template that improved reconciliation accuracy and audit readiness across 7 regional depots. I also recommended eliminating manual receipt books in favor of system-based posting, then oversaw the handover and training of the receipt-entry process to an outsourced vendor, monitoring their team's compliance over a 3-month transition.

I later moved into an Accounts Payable & Reporting role at the same organization, where I managed monthly accrual and prepaid expense journals across IT, legal, courier, and fuel categories, maintained a reversal tracker, and handled vendor reconciliations across a portfolio of 1,000+ vendors.
