Job Details

I'm an accountant with 6+ years of experience, including more than 3 years in the UAE, working across accounts payable and receivable, inventory accounting, reconciliations, VAT and payroll.

In my current role at Afnan Perfumes LLC in Ajman, a large part of my work is inventory accounting. I monitor stock movements and regularly reconcile inventory, sales and accounting records. When discrepancies come up, I investigate them and coordinate their resolution. I also prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) documentation and follow up on corrective actions to reduce recurring variances. I produce weekly and monthly sales reports and MIS reports for management review.

Alongside this, I handle core accounting work:
- Accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payment processing
- Bank, customer and supplier reconciliations
- Customer invoicing and quotation preparation
- Payroll processing
- Preparing information for quarterly VAT returns

Before joining Afnan, I spent two years as an Accountant at Raagan Technical Services LLC in Dubai. There I managed AP/AR, debtor and creditor reconciliations, payment certificates and VAT return support. Earlier, I built my accounting foundation over three years at Saras Chem Pvt. Ltd. in India.
