Description
Behringer released a synthesizer called the MonoPoly, which is a recreation of the classic Korg Mono/Poly from the 1980s. This synth maintains the original layout and features a fully analogue signal path with four VCOs, each offering four waveforms and pulse width modulation. It includes a 24dB filter, dual analogue LFOs, and an arpeggiator with up/down and octave selections.
COMES WITH A DECKSAVER.
The Behringer MonoPoly can be played in monophonic, unison, and polyphonic modes, allowing up to four-note chords. It also has a Chord Memory function for recalling saved chords and supports cross-modulation and oscillator sync in its effects section.
The synth includes a 37-note semi-weighted keyboard that can be set to three different angles or laid flat. It features CV patch points, sync, and MIDI In/Out and Thru options. However, Behringer did not include a sequencer, sticking to the original's simple arpeggiator.
As of the latest information, the price and release date for the Behringer MonoPoly have not been officially announced, but it is estimated to be around £599 based on the pricing of Behringer's other synths.
