Description

The Ubiquiti UVC-G6-180-W, commercially known as the UniFi G6 180, is a professional panoramic security camera designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance where exceptionally wide coverage is required. Its dual-camera architecture provides a seamless 180° horizontal view, helping reduce the number of cameras required for entrances, warehouses, retail spaces, parking areas, offices, campuses, and other large monitoring zones.

The G6 180 combines two 1/1.8-inch 8MP image sensors to deliver a total panoramic resolution of 16MP at 7680 × 2160, with recording at up to 20 FPS. The resulting ultra-wide 3.5:1 image provides substantially more horizontal scene coverage than a conventional single-lens security camera.

Its built-in Multi-TOPS AI Engine supports advanced UniFi Protect analytics, including face recognition, license plate recognition, and smart detection of people, vehicles, and animals. These capabilities allow operators to locate relevant events and monitor activity more efficiently.

For night surveillance, the camera includes integrated infrared illumination providing visibility at distances of up to 20 metres (65 ft), together with an automatic IR cut filter for day and night operation.

The camera also supports two-way audio, enabling both audio monitoring and communication through compatible UniFi Protect deployments. A microSD expansion slot provides additional local storage capability where required.

Network connectivity is provided through a 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet interface, while power is supplied using PoE+. Maximum power consumption is rated at approximately 15W, with a supported voltage range of 37–57V DC.

The enclosure is constructed from aluminum alloy and polycarbonate and carries an IP66 weatherproof rating along with IK04 tamper resistance. It supports multiple mounting options, including ceiling, pole, wedge, and pan-adapter installation, with additional mounting accessories available separately.
