Description

The MikroTik CSS106-1G-4P-1S, commonly known as the RB260GSP, is a compact Gigabit smart switch designed for small offices, CCTV installations, wireless networks, home labs, and SOHO deployments that need basic managed switching together with passive PoE output.

The switch provides 5 × 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports, with passive PoE output available on Ether2 through Ether5. These ports can power compatible devices using the same voltage supplied to the switch, making it useful for selected MikroTik access points, wireless CPEs, cameras, and other compatible passive-PoE equipment.

For fiber connectivity, the RB260GSP includes 1 × SFP cage with DDMI support. MikroTik lists compatibility with selected SFP modules, including the S-85DLC05D, S-31DLC20D and S-35/53LC20D families.

The device runs MikroTik SwOS, an operating system created specifically for MikroTik switches. SwOS provides a web-based interface for functions such as VLAN configuration, forwarding control, RSTP, IGMP Snooping, SNMP, ACLs, host-table monitoring and firmware management.

Switching is handled by the QCA8337 switch chip. MikroTik specifies up to 6Gbps Layer 1 throughput and 12Gbps Layer 1 switching capacity, depending on packet size and operating conditions.

The RB260GSP can be powered through either its 11–30V DC jack or 11–30V passive PoE input. It supports up to 2A total PoE output current, with a maximum device power consumption of 53W when powering attached equipment and approximately 5W without connected loads.

The compact indoor unit measures approximately 113 × 139 × 28mm, uses passive cooling for silent operation, and includes a 24V 2.5A power adapter and IEC power cord.
