Description

Subject: Brand New/Like New HGST Ultrastar Hs14 14TB SATA HDD (HM-SMR) - 900 AED

Hi everyone,

I am selling an enterprise-grade HGST Ultrastar Hs14 14TB hard drive. It is in perfect mechanical and physical condition (spins smoothly, health is 100%), but it is strictly designed for specific environment architectures.

Please read the technical specs below carefully before purchasing to ensure compatibility with your system:

• Brand/Model: HGST Ultrastar Hs14 14TB (Western Digital)
• Part Number: HSH721414ALE6M0
• Interface: SATA 6Gb/s
• Recording Technology: Host-Managed SMR (HM-SMR)
• Sector Format: 4Kn (512e)
• Best Used For: Advanced Linux servers (with modern kernels supporting ZBC/ZAC), Ceph, or specialized cloud storage environments.

CRITICAL NOTE: This is a Host-Managed SMR drive. It will NOT be recognized by standard Windows 10/11 desktops, traditional RAID controllers (like Dell PERC H310/H730), or standard NAS out of the box. The host OS must manage the zones.

Price: 900 AED (Fixed / Cash or Bank Transfer)
Location: Sharjah / Dubai, UAE (Local pickup or shipping at buyer's expense)

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
