This is a collectible Irish 5 pound banknote from the Central Bank of Ireland, part of the "Lady Lavery Series" of legal tender notes.
Issue Date: 10th January 1975
Condition: Graded About Uncirculated 55 by PCGS.
Design: The note features a portrait of Lady Hazel Lavery on the front, representing the female embodiment of Mother Ireland.
Watermark: The watermark on all notes in this series is the head of Erin.
The back depicted is a mask representing the Spirit of the River Blackwater from the facade of the Custom House in Dublin, Ireland. The design is often set within ornate Celtic knotwork borders.
