Description

Selling my complete Shakespeare Stories box set, with all 16 illustrated paperbacks in their original slipcase. These are funny, fast-paced retellings of Shakespeare’s best-known plays for children, written by Andrew Matthews and illustrated throughout by Tony Ross, in modern English that younger readers can follow easily. The set includes Hamlet, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice, Othello, King Lear, Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra, Henry V and Richard III. They’re a brilliant way to introduce children aged 7 and up to Shakespeare before they meet the plays at school, and they make a great gift or a lovely addition to a home or classroom library.
