Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Karate Coach & Academy Coordinator to join our team in Dubai. This hybrid role combines high-quality martial arts instruction with key administrative duties and digital content creation. The ideal candidate will inspire students on the mat, efficiently run seasonal training camps, execute termly belt gradings, handle day-to-day office management, and create engaging social media content.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coaching & Instruction
Plan and deliver engaging, high-energy Karate classes for students of various ages (kids to adults) and skill levels.
Cultivate a safe, disciplined, and supportive training environment focused on skill development and character building.
Conduct formal termly belt gradings, managing student evaluations, progression metrics, and certification.
2. Camps & Special Events
Organize, market, and lead dynamic seasonal Karate Camps (Spring, Summer, Winter, and school mid-term breaks).
Design curriculum, daily schedules, and interactive activities to maximize student engagement and camp attendance.
3. Social Media & Content Creation
Capture and produce high-quality Instagram videos (Reels, technique highlights, student achievements, and behind-the-scenes content).
Collaborate on social media strategy to boost brand awareness, promote upcoming camps/gradings, and drive new student sign-ups.
4. Office & Academy Administration
Manage day-to-day office administration, including student enrollment, attendance tracking, and fee collection.
Handle customer service inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp professionally.
Oversee inventory management for uniforms, belts, and training equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Martial Arts Background: Certified Black Belt (1st Dan or higher) in Karate from a recognized governing body.
Coaching Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching children and adults.
Administrative Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, basic record keeping, and email management.
Media Savvy: Proven ability to shoot, edit, and post short-form mobile videos (Instagram Reels / TikTok).
Language: Strong verbal and written English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).
Location: Currently based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE.
