About the Role
Mercantile Pacific Group runs an authorised Apple new-device distribution business from its Dubai hub, supplying onward markets including Pakistan, Afghanistan and Laos, with expansion planned across South Asia, Central Asia and Indochina.
We are looking for a hands-on Manager to own the full operational backbone of this business: freight, warehouse and sales operations, from vendor pick-up through to in-market delivery. The role reports to the Head of Logistics and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inbound and outbound air, sea and road freight, including forwarder selection, rate negotiation and SLA tracking.
Handle export documentation and coordinate customs clearance in destination markets.
Oversee Dubai hub warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, serial and IMEI traceability, and secure handling of high-value goods.
Run the order-to-dispatch cycle: PO validation, allocation, invoicing coordination and shipment release.
Lead the weekly S&OP and allocation process with commercial teams and distributors.
Manage operational relationships with Apple, freight forwarders, 3PLs, customs brokers and insurers.
Ensure compliance with UAE export controls, sanctions screening, Incoterms and Apple distributor requirements.
Produce OTIF, freight cost, inventory accuracy and vendor performance dashboards for leadership.
Requirements
6–8 years in distribution, supply chain or logistics, covering freight, warehousing and order operations.
Experience with multi-country outbound distribution, ideally into emerging markets in South Asia, Central Asia or Indochina.
Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation, HS classification and destination clearance.
Hands-on WMS, cycle counting and serial/IMEI tracking experience.
Strong vendor management with freight forwarders, 3PLs and customs brokers.
Advanced Excel and dashboard reporting skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
Based in Dubai, with willingness to travel to onward markets as required.
Preferred
Consumer electronics, mobile device or high-value FMCG distribution background.
Experience with Apple or another OEM as an authorised distributor.
SAP, NetSuite, Oracle or similar ERP/WMS experience.
