We are seeking a skilled and personable Barista to prepare and serve coffee and beverages to a consistently high standard while delivering the kind of service that brings customers back. Reporting to the Café Supervisor or Outlet Manager, the successful candidate will run the bar with technical accuracy, speed, and genuine warmth toward guests.
The core of the role is beverage preparation. The Barista grinds, doses, tamps, and extracts espresso to the specified recipe, checking shot time, yield, and taste throughout the day and adjusting the grind as conditions change. Milk is steamed to the correct texture and temperature for each drink, with latte art applied to the standard the outlet requires. Filter, pour-over, cold brew, iced drinks, teas, and blended beverages are prepared to recipe, and food items are plated or heated where the outlet offers them. Consistency matters more than flourish: a flat white should taste identical on a Monday morning and a Saturday afternoon.
