We are looking for a skilled Decorative Metal Fabricator experienced in steel & stainless-steel fabrication, welding, bending, cutting, grinding, polishing, and finishing for furniture and interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
Read and work from shop drawings and technical drawings.
Measure, cut, drill, bend, fabricate, and assemble metal components.
Perform MIG/MAG, TIG, and ARC welding.
Fabricate decorative screens, partitions, furniture frames, doors, trims, panels, and architectural metalwork.
Perform grinding, deburring, weld dressing, polishing, and surface preparation.
Achieve hairline, satin, brushed, and mirror finishes on stainless steel.
Ensure accurate dimensions, alignment, joints, welds, and overall finish.
Assist with workshop assembly, trial fitting, and site installation when required.
Coordinate metalwork with wood, stone, glass, and upholstery.
Follow quality, safety, PPE, and housekeeping requirements.
Requirements
3–5+ years’ experience in metal fabrication, preferably in furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out.
Strong experience with mild steel and stainless steel.
Good knowledge of welding, bending, grinding, polishing, and finishing.
Ability to read fabrication/shop drawings.
Experience with decorative and high-end architectural metalwork preferred.
ITI/Vocational/Technical qualification in welding or metal fabrication is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, workmanship, and safety.
Ideal Candidate
A hands-on and detail-oriented fabricator capable of producing precision metalwork, clean welds, seamless joints, accurate bends, and premium decorative finishes to high-quality furniture and interior fit-out standards.
