🎯 Key Responsibilities
Shop Drawings: Produce highly detailed, scaled CAD shop drawings and production drawings for client approval and factory floor execution.
Cutting Lists & BOM: Generate accurate cutting lists, material breakdowns, and Bills of Materials (BOM) for the production and CNC manufacturing teams.
Material Specification: Select and specify appropriate hardware (ironmongery), wood species, board types (MDF, plywood), and finishing treatments.
Site Verification: Conduct on-site measurements and laser surveys to verify actual spatial dimensions before finalizing factory production files.
Coordination: Collaborate closely with interior architects to clarify design intent and with Project Managers to troubleshoot site installation constraints.
🛠 Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of technical drafting or design detailing specifically within a joinery workshop or interior fit-out firm.
Software Mastery: Exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), SolidWorks, IMOS, Cabinet Vision, or SketchUp.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of wood joinery construction methods, wood types, veneer matching, and hardware mechanisms.
Mobility: Valid driver's license and having your own car is highly preferred for site visits.
