Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Arabic dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and attractively.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including cutting, marinating, seasoning, and portioning.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
Properly store food items to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
Assist with receiving and checking food deliveries.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
Maintain a safe working environment and comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in Arabic or Middle Eastern cuisine.
Knowledge of traditional Arabic dishes, spices, and cooking techniques.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
