Job Title: Full-Time British-Trained Professional Nanny
Location: Dubai, UAE
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 10,000 net per month
About the family
We are family living in Dubai Hills Estate with one child, a 7-year-old who attends school We are looking for a joyful, warm, experienced and reliable British-trained European nanny to become a long-term part of our family life.
Role summary
The nanny will be fully responsible for our child’s care, routine and development on weekdays, with a strong focus on education, activities and building good habits
Key responsibilities
Morning routine: waking, dressing, breakfast and getting ready for school
School drop-off and pick-up
Homework help, reading practice and supporting school learning
Planning and taking him to after-school activities, outings and playdates
Keeping the child’s room, clothes, toys and school items organised
Encouraging good manners, independence, confidence and healthy screen-time habits
Creative and educational play: arts and crafts, sports, games, outdoor time
Communicating daily with parents about the child’s day, progress and any concerns
Occasional travel with the family
Requirements
British-trained, with a recognised UK childcare qualification
Minimum 3 years’ professional nanny experience, including with school-age children
Excellent English, spoken and written, with clear pronunciation, as the nanny will support reading, homework and language development
Paediatric first aid certificate (or willing to complete one)
At least 2 verifiable professional references
Long-term commitment, minimum 1–2 years
Respectful of UAE culture and customs
Personal qualities
Joyful, kind, patient and energetic, with a positive attitude and a genuine love for working with children. Well-organised, proactive and fun to be around, with good communication skills and discretion
