We are seeking a reliable and organised Stockroom Associate to receive, store, and issue stock from the stockroom so that the sales floor or production area always has what it needs. Reporting to the Stockroom Supervisor or Store Manager, the successful candidate will keep the stockroom orderly and accurate, acting as the link between deliveries arriving at the back door and products reaching the shelf.
The core of the role is receiving and put-away. The Stockroom Associate unloads deliveries, counts items against delivery notes and purchase orders, and inspects goods for damage, shortages, or incorrect items, reporting any discrepancy to the supervisor immediately rather than accepting it quietly. Goods are labelled where required and moved to their correct locations promptly, with heavier items stored low and fast-moving lines kept easy to reach.
