We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and keep the plant's equipment, utilities, and facilities running safely and reliably. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager, the successful candidate will plan and direct day-to-day maintenance activity, minimise unplanned downtime, and ensure that production is never held up by avoidable equipment failure.
The core of the role is maintenance planning and team direction. The Maintenance Supervisor allocates daily work orders to mechanical, electrical, and utilities technicians, prioritises tasks by safety risk and production impact, and monitors progress through the shift. Breakdowns are responded to quickly, with the supervisor joining the diagnosis personally where needed, and temporary fixes are never allowed to quietly become permanent. Work is scheduled so that the most critical equipment is always attended to first.
