We are seeking to hire an experienced Fruit Purchasing and Quality Inspector to join our team, based in Dubai, International City. The job is a full office-based position handling the quality inspection, approval, rejection and storage of all fruit deliveries for the company.
Job Responsibilities;
- Managing the running of the day kitchen and assisting in the daily selection and purchasing of fruits and vegetables from selected suppliers to maintain the highest possible quality standard.
- Unloading, Inspection, sorting, approval and rejection of all Fruit deliveries from our suppliers.
- Prepare and submit daily wastage report documenting all fruits rejected, returned to suppliers and quantity of fruits disposed of.
- Handle the Quality Control procedures of all fruits from receipt of supplier deliveries, storage to packing and delivery to all our clients.
- Assist in the sorting, washing and selection of selected Fruits
- Prepare and pack orders for Delivery
- General Cleaning
Requirements:
- Previous Knowledge and Experience in fruit quality and quality inspection methods
- Experience in Dubai Fruits and Vegetables markets is an advantage
- Position is office based with limited requirements to visit suppliers.
- Reliable, fit, active and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with computers and Microsoft office and Outlook email.
