We are seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to plan, track, and coordinate the movement of goods so that shipments arrive on time, in full, and within budget. Reporting to the Logistics Manager or Operations Manager, the successful candidate will act as the central point of contact between suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and customers, keeping every consignment visible from order to delivery.
The core of the role is shipment planning and coordination. The Logistics Coordinator reviews orders and transport requirements, books carriers, freight forwarders, or internal fleet capacity, and schedules collections and deliveries against customer deadlines and warehouse capacity. Routes, modes, and consolidation options are weighed on cost and transit time rather than habit, and plans are adjusted early when volumes, priorities, or constraints change.
