Position Summary
The AC Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong technical skills, problem solving ability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC units, including filters, coils, motors, ducts, and thermostats.
• Diagnose and repair faults in split units, package units, FCUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, and ventilation equipment.
• Respond to breakdown calls and resolve issues within agreed SLA timelines.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical components, wiring, control boards, and sensors.
• Perform gas charging, leak testing, and brazing as required.
• Record all maintenance activities using mobile apps or job cards (digital or manual).
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and foremen for material requests, job updates, and site requirements.
• Provide technical feedback to improve system performance and reduce repeat complaints.
• Support installation and commissioning of new HVAC equipment when required.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting methods
• Ability to read technical diagrams and wiring schematics
• Familiarity with tools such as multimeters, gauges, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps
• Good communication and customer handling skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Basic computer or mobile app literacy for job reporting

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in AC maintenance (FM or HVAC industry preferred)
