We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabrication Supervisor to oversee operations in our fabrication workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure that all steel fabrication work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of the steel fabrication workshop.
• Ensure all fabrication work complies with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, welders, and workshop staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and adherence to safety regulations.
• Plan and schedule fabrication projects to meet deadlines.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and consumables.
• Train, mentor, and manage junior staff and technicians.
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Fabrication, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a steel fabrication workshop.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes (cutting, welding, assembling, finishing).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Understanding of safety standards and workshop regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to read drawings and prepare a bill of materials.
• Ability to create material requisitions.
• Ability to manage workers.
Salary: AED 3,000 – 5,000 per month (based on experience)
