We are seeking a visionary and highly credible Head of School to lead the whole school community and hold ultimate accountability for educational quality, student wellbeing, financial health, and reputation. Reporting to the Board of Governors, the Owner, or the Governing Council, the successful candidate will set the school’s direction, build a strong leadership team, and ensure every student is safe, known, and challenged to achieve.
The core of the role is strategic and educational leadership. The Head of School develops and communicates a clear vision and development plan, aligned with the school’s mission, curriculum framework (British, American, IB, or national), and the expectations of regulators and families. Teaching, learning, and assessment are monitored through data, observation, and review, and standards are raised through targeted improvement plans rather than slogans. The Head ensures the curriculum is broad, well sequenced, and inclusive, and that results, progression, and university or next-stage outcomes are strong and honestly reported.
