Job Title: Delivery Driver
Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Delivery Driver to transport and deliver goods safely and on time to customers and company locations. The ideal candidate should have good driving skills, knowledge of local routes, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicle for delivery and pickup of goods.
Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and designated locations.
Load and unload items carefully and verify delivery documents.
Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.
Maintain delivery records, invoices, and proof of delivery.
Inspect vehicle regularly and report maintenance or repair needs.
Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Communicate professionally with customers and office staff.
Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle.
Handle customer inquiries and delivery issues professionally.
Requirements:
Valid driving license.
Proven experience as a driver or delivery driver preferred.
Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
Ability to lift and move packages when required.
Good communication and time management skills.
Basic reading and record-keeping skills.
Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
Working Conditions:
May require flexible working hours, weekends, or overtime depending on delivery schedules.
Outdoor driving and physical work involved.
