We’re Hiring: AutoCAD Designer
Join Our Precision Driven Team
A B S METALS CUTTING LLC is a leader/top-tier metal processing and service centre, specializing in laser cutting, v-grooving, bending, perforation, brushing, router grooving, and bead blasting.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our dynamic and innovative technical design team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD
• Read, interpret, and review blueprints, technical drawings and client specifications.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes, improvements and production requirements.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and production-ready.
• Prepare and maintain organized drawing documentation and file systems.
• Ensure all designs comply with technical standards, tolerances, and available production capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
• 2–3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Designer in metal fabrication, manufacturing or engineering
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D software is an advantage
• Solid understanding of sheet metal materials, cutting tolerances, and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and convert them into production-ready files
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):
• Experience preparing files for CNC laser cutting, vgrooving, bending, perforation and etc.
• Knowledge of nesting software and cutting optimization tools
• Familiarity with TRUMPF or DURMA machinery
