Job Title: Front-of-House Customer Service, Sales & Cashier
Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused team member to manage the front-of-house operations of our takeaway café. This role combines customer service, sales, cashier, and car-side service to ensure every customer receives a fast, accurate, and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with a positive and professional attitude.
- Take orders using a POS system and tablet, including serving customers at their vehicles.
- Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Recommend menu items, upsell products, and help attract new customers.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and barista team to ensure accurate and timely order preparation.
- Ensure all orders are complete before serving and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area while supporting smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, cashier, retail, restaurant, or café is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Sales-oriented with confidence in upselling and engaging customers.
- Experience using POS systems, tablets, and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail, cash-handling skills, and ability to multitask.
- Reliable, well-presented, proactive, and able to work both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Performance Expectations
- Deliver excellent customer service.
