Tea Specialist – Ateej Tea Brew (عتيج)
We're looking for a skilled Tea Specialist to join our specialty tea and Emirati hospitality-rooted café in Sharjah.
Responsibilities:
Prepare karak chai with consistent quality and traditional technique
Prepare and serve Arabic coffee (gahwa) following proper etiquette and presentation standards
Prepare a range of black teas (Ceylon, Assam, and specialty blends) to order
Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation across all beverages
Manage tea/coffee station inventory and freshness of ingredients
Uphold hygiene and food safety standards
Deliver warm, authentic Emirati-style hospitality to guests
Requirements:
Prior experience preparing karak and/or Arabic coffee (café, majlis, or hospitality setting)
Knowledge of different tea types, brewing methods, and spice blends
Attention to detail and consistency under service pressure
Friendly, guest-facing demeanor aligned with Emirati hospitality values
Availability for café operating hours (including peak/weekend shifts)
Nice to have:
Experience in a speciality beverage or café concept
