Private Chef
We are recruiting a Private Chef for a private household.
The focus is authentic South Indian home cooking. Daily meals, not restaurant theatre. You will cook for the principal, family and guests, with numbers varying from two to twenty at short notice.
Requirements
Trained and experienced in South Indian cuisine, ideally Tamil, Kerala or Karnataka regional cooking. Genuine home style depth, not hotel banquet style.
Minimum five years cooking professionally, including private household or high net worth family experience.
Vegetarian and vegan cooking to a very high standard.
Able to flex into North Indian, pan Asian and simple European dishes when asked.
Calm, discreet and unflappable. Absolute confidentiality is expected.
Clean, well organised and comfortable working to a household routine.
Fluent English essential. Tamil an advantage.
