Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate South Indian Chef to join our restaurant team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine and be capable of preparing a wide variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and hygiene.
Responsibilities
* Prepare authentic South Indian dishes including dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, curries, and other regional specialties.
* Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and food quality.
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety standards.
* Manage food inventory and minimize wastage.
* Assist in menu development and introduce new dishes when required.
* Work efficiently during busy service periods.
Requirements
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a South Indian Chef.
* Strong knowledge of South Indian recipes and cooking techniques.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen operations.
* Team player with a positive attitude.
* UAE experience is an advantage.
