Cook Assistant – Maia Restaurant & Catering (Al Ain)
Maia Restaurant & Catering is looking for a hardworking and reliable Cook Assistant to join our team in Al Ain.
About Us
We own a restaurant and provide catering services for weddings, private events, corporate gatherings, and buffet setups across the UAE.
Responsibilities
• Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare ingredients, vegetables, sauces, and basic dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Help with buffet and catering food preparation.
• Support kitchen operations during weddings and events.
• Ensure proper storage of food and kitchen supplies.
• Follow food safety and health regulations.
Requirements
• Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and events.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Al Ain.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in kitchens, catering, or restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of canapés, finger foods, and small bites.
• Experience in food presentation and buffet styling.
• Ability to assist in preparing dishes for weddings and events.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
