BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – CONSTRUCTION, COMMERCIAL FIT-OUT & GOVERNMENT PROJECTS
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in UAE B2B business development
FV is a Dubai-based technical services company operating in the construction, commercial renovation, fit-out and building maintenance sectors.
We are looking for two experienced Business Development Executives to develop new business opportunities, establish strategic client relationships and secure profitable contracts across Dubai and the UAE.
The ideal candidates must have an established professional network in the UAE construction sector, a proven track record of personally securing contracts and the ability to identify opportunities in both the private and public sectors.
Target Clients & Markets
Candidates will be responsible for developing business opportunities with the following organisations:
* Main contractors and construction companies.
* Commercial fit-out and interior contracting companies.
* Property developers, real estate groups and property owners.
* Government entities, ministries and public-sector organisations.
* Government-funded construction, renovation and building maintenance projects.
* Semi-government entities and government-related companies.
* Public procurement departments and government tendering authorities.
* Companies awarded government contracts that require qualified subcontractors.
* Facility management companies and property management groups.
* Corporate offices, retail chains, shopping malls and showroom operators.
* Hotels, hospitality groups and commercial property operators.
* Consultants, project managers, quantity surveyors and procurement departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop and secure new B2B business opportunities across Dubai and the UAE.
* Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, procurement managers, contractors, developers and consultants.
* Generate qualified leads and arrange meetings with potential clients.
* Identify upcoming construction, renovation, commercial fit-out and maintenance projects.
* Source and obtain requests for quotations (RFQs), invitations to tender and subcontracting opportunities.
* Identify relevant government and public-sector tenders and assess their commercial suitability.
* Develop relationships with main contractors and companies already holding government or major commercial contracts.
* Identify supplier registration, contractor prequalification and tender participation opportunities.
* Coordinate with technical and operational teams to prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
* Negotiate commercial terms and follow opportunities through to contract award.
* Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide regular reports on leads, meetings, quotations, tenders and secured contracts.
* Develop long-term client relationships and generate repeat business.
* Work towards agreed sales targets while ensuring that opportunities are commercially viable and profitable.
Mandatory Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of proven B2B business development or sales experience in the UAE, preferably in Dubai.
* Minimum 3 years of direct experience in construction, commercial fit-out, renovation, contracting, technical services or facility management in the UAE.
* An established professional network with main contractors, property developers, consultants, procurement managers, facility management companies or public-sector contractors.
* Proven experience personally generating qualified business opportunities and securing commercial contracts.
* Demonstrated ability to identify projects, access decision-makers, obtain RFQs and tenders, negotiate and close deals.
* Ability to provide concrete examples of UAE projects or contracts personally secured, including contract values where disclosure is permitted.
* Excellent professional English communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to develop long-term business relationships.
* UAE driving licence is an advantage.
* Candidates must be able to explain how they will generate new business and secure contracts for FV.
Experience with government tenders, public-sector procurement, supplier registration, contractor prequalification or subcontracting on government projects will be considered a strong advantage.
Compensation
Full-time position:
* Fixed monthly salary plus performance-based commission, depending on experience and demonstrated results.
Commission-based arrangement:
* May be considered for candidates with an established UAE construction-sector network and a proven record of securing contracts.
Compensation will be discussed with shortlisted candidates based on experience, existing client relationships and demonstrated commercial performance.
Commission arrangements will be defined clearly and linked to agreed commercial results.
