This role is for a Microtunnelling Project Manager with TTC Tunnel Contracting LLC in the UAE.
The Company
• Part of an international engineering group specializing in complex subsurface infrastructure.
• Operations across Australia, Singapore, and the UAE.
• Focus on microtunnelling, shaft sinking and trenchless technology projects.
Main Responsibilities
• Manage Microtunnel construction projects from commencement through completion.
• Develop and control project schedules, budgets, resources, and manpower plans.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, quality, costs, and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, HSE requirements, and UAE regulations.
• Lead project teams and resolve technical and construction issues.
• Prepare progress reports and attend stakeholder meetings.
• Deliver projects on time and oversee successful project handover.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Essential
• 15+ years of construction experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience managing shaft and tunnel construction projects.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.
• Recent RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) and/or Municipality project experience.
• Experience with Herrenknecht MTBM (Microtunnelling Boring Machines).
• UAE or broader GCC experience.
