Position: Domestic Maid / Housemaid
Employment Type: Full-Time – Live-In
Location: United Arab Emirates
*Job Purpose*
The Domestic Maid is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and day-to-day household requirements of the client's home. The role requires a reliable, trustworthy, respectful, and service-oriented individual who can work independently and maintain high standards of hygiene and household care.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Cleaning
Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and other household spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, appliances, and other household items as required.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Handle household items and personal belongings with care.
Laundry & Ironing
Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothes and household linens.
Iron clothes according to the required fabric and garment type.
Maintain proper organization of wardrobes, laundry areas, and linen storage.
Kitchen Assistance
Assist with basic food preparation when required.
Prepare simple meals according to the family's requirements.
Clean kitchen surfaces, appliances, utensils, and cooking areas.
Wash and store dishes and kitchen equipment properly.
Follow proper food hygiene and safe food-handling practices.
Childcare Support – Where Required
Assist with basic childcare duties where agreed.
Supervise children when requested by the household employer.
Assist with children's meals, hygiene, and daily routines.
Maintain children's rooms, clothes, toys, and belongings.
General Household Support
Make beds and maintain bedrooms and living spaces.
Organize household items and maintain general order.
Assist with grocery unpacking and basic household errands when required.
Inform the employer of any damaged, missing, or low-stock household items.
Support the family with other reasonable household duties within the agreed scope.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a domestic maid, housekeeper, cleaner, or similar role is preferred.
Good understanding of household cleaning and hygiene practices.
Ability to follow instructions and household routines.
Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties.
Honest, trustworthy, responsible, and respectful.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently.
Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
Must be willing to work as a Live-Out Domestic Maid.
