Golden Horse Car Service is hiring a hands-on Paint Supervisor for our workshop in Al Quoz 3, Dubai. You will organise preparation and painting, guide the team and personally handle demanding refinishing work on European and premium vehicles.
Responsibilities
• Plan daily preparation and spray-booth work, allocate tasks and coordinate completion times with the workshop team.
• Inspect repaired panels and surface preparation before painting. Resolve preparation defects before the next stage.
• Carry out and supervise colour matching, blending and refinishing, including metallic, pearl and multi-stage finishes.
• Check colour match, texture, coverage, edges and finish quality. Arrange correction of runs, contamination, overspray and other defects before final inspection.
• Track paint and consumable use, reduce avoidable waste and keep mixing equipment, spray guns and the booth ready for work.
• Coach painters and preparation staff, follow product technical instructions and safe working practices, and record the causes of rework.
Requirements
• At least 5 years in automotive painting and refinishing, including 2 years leading or supervising a team.
• Demonstrable experience on European or premium vehicles and the ability to perform high-quality work personally.
• Strong colour-matching, blending and paint-defect diagnosis skills.
• Ability to read technical data sheets, organise several jobs and communicate with the workshop team in English. UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
