We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations within a fast-paced FMCG trading and distribution environment in Dubai. The role is responsible for financial reporting, inventory and cost accounting, cash flow, credit control, UAE tax compliance, budgeting, audit coordination, and supervision of the accounting team.

14. Knowledge of applicable UAE accounting, commercial, and financial regulations.
15. Familiarity with IFRS and UAE financial reporting practices.
16. Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, COGS, credit control, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cash-flow management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a senior accounting/Chief Accountant role in FMCG in UAE.
3. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax and IFRS.
4. Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
5. Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar.
