We are looking for an experienced Administrative & Accounting Officer to support the company’s operations in both Dubai and Italy.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and administrative skills, excellent knowledge of Italian as well as European accounting procedures, and a good understanding of UAE VAT, corporate compliance and Free Zone requirements.
Native-level Italian and fluent English are required, as the role involves regular communication with both the Dubai office and the Italian headquarters.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the UAE and Italy operations.
* Prepare invoices, payments, bank reconciliations and financial reports.
* Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, consultants and government authorities.
* Ensure compliance with Italian , European and UAE accounting, tax, VAT and corporate regulations.
* Maintain company records, financial files and administrative documentation.
* Support communication between the Dubai office and the Italian headquarters by email and phone.
* Assist management with financial planning, reporting and administrative follow-up.
* Follow up on orders, invoices and payments by email or phone when required.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in accounting and administration.
* Strong knowledge of Italian accounting standards, procedures and regulations.
* Good understanding of UAE accounting, VAT and corporate compliance.
* Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Xero or similar.
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
* Native-level Italian and fluent English, both written and spoken.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Previous experience with companies operating between Italy and the UAE.
* Familiarity with UAE Free Zone companies.
* Experience coordinating with external accountants, auditors and administrative consultants.
