Job Summary
Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements. The role will also provide financial support to the company’s legal and corporate services operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, receipts, and payment records.
Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and accounting schedules.
Monitor company expenses, revenues, cash flow, and outstanding receivables.
Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records on a regular basis.
Assist with VAT calculations, filings, and other applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, banks, and internal departments regarding accounting and payment matters.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts, contracts, and other financial records.
Assist with audits and provide required financial documents and information.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, applicable UAE regulations, and professional accounting standards.
Provide financial information and support to management for business planning and decision-making.
Key Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Good understanding of UAE VAT and basic corporate tax requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Previous experience in accounting, preferably within a legal, corporate services, consultancy, or professional services environment.
