I am writing to apply for the position of QC Inspector – Piping/Welding within your organization. I am a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduate with 8+ years of QA/QC and piping inspection experience across Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power Plant, Aluminium and industrial projects in India and the GCC.
My experience includes piping fabrication and erection inspection, fit-up and weld visual inspection, material verification, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, NDT coordination, WPS/WQT compliance, punch listing, reinstatement inspection, and review of P&IDs, isometric drawings and project specifications. I also have working exposure to applicable ASME, API, AWS and ASTM codes and standards, along with ASNT NDT Level II certification in RT, UT, MT and PT.
Through assignments associated with organizations and projects including Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and HPCL Refinery, I have developed strong practical experience in maintaining inspection quality, documentation and compliance with project and client requirements.
I am confident that my technical background and field inspection experience would enable me to contribute effectively to your QA/QC team. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my suitability for the position.
