I'm selling a brand new, never-used handmade Afghan wool rug measuring approximately 2.5 x 3 m (about 8.4 x 9.8 ft). I bought it but it was never laid out—it remains flawless with no stains, wear or repairs. The rug is rectangular, hand-knotted from wool and dyed with natural vegetable dyes, featuring a dense all-over bird and tree motif on a deep blue field. Colors include various muted earth tones and soft creams that form stylized birds, peacocks and tree branches across the whole surface. It's substantial in weight and pile, suitable as a statement piece for a living room or formal area, and will patina nicely over time if used. Comes from an Asian/Afghan weaving tradition and is ready to place in your home.
