The JibONE v1 has a quick and easy setup, mounting onto a tripod using a 3/8"-16 thread, and the camera or camera rig mounts onto the end of the arm using a 3/8"-16 screw. The jib arm measures 2' long when folded, and provides 1.6' of camera travel when in motion. Four 2.2 lb counterweights are included to balance heavier rigs, and they can be added one by one to accommodate different rig sizes.
The motor allows the camera to travel 1.6' at variable speeds between 8 and 140 seconds per second, controlled by the smartphone app. The JibONE app connects to the jib via Bluetooth and allows you to control the settings, speed, tilt, and pan. It also allows you to set a one-touch time-lapse as well as combine with optional HeadPLUS or HeadONE units to utilize target tracking, target switching, sequencing, and target learning. You can also connect your camera to the 2.5mm shutter trigger port to control shutter and run/stop camera operation.
A bright OLED screen on the Pan Module provides settings and status information, such as when configuring time-lapse and speed modes. The motor allows you to pan up to 18°/s. The Pan Module features a 3/8"-16 thread on the bottom that allows it to be mounted onto sliders, tripods, dollies, and various other supports, and it provides a 3/8"-16 mounting screw on top for a variety of camera mounts, cages, and fluid heads. It is powered by a separately available battery using the included LP-E6 battery mount, and it features power-saving and automatic power-off modes, so you can operate for a longer duration. One LP-E6 battery can power the unit for up to six hours or shoot up to 50,000 still photos in time-lapse mode on a single charge. It can also be powered using the included AC/DC power adapter.
The Pan Module also features a 2.1mm 9 VDC barrel output to power additional accessories. The control app supports iOS 11 and later and Android 5 and later, and it connects using Bluetooth. To utilize the pairing feature with other edelkrone devices, the Pan Module features a direct 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal.
